Off to a good start...

Following this video, she said I was stinky and tried to change my diaper. Very sweet : ) So, a day or two later, we had a super saturday potty day. We loosly followed a book my friend recommended called "potty training in less than a day." Good book, some good ideas, a good place to start anyway. So by 1:00, we still had had no successes, about 9 accidents (thank goodness for training panties and plastic panties!!) We gave her tons to drink and asked if she was dry every 10 min. or so, with attempts every 30 or so. (I never would've made it without Chad innitiating and supporting it along the way.) Finally 3 successes!! We made a huge deal, called grandmas and gave candy. The next day (after church and nap) no accidents. Yesterday, 1 accident, 0 reminders. She seems to be losing steam with 1 accident and 1 success and chosing a diaper in the end. So we'll see how things go from here. But we're off to an exciting start. We may need another super saturday, or she may give it up all together. But we're off to an exciting start and I'm VERY proud of her.
