Spring seems to be nearing its end here with our AC turned on. But we're enjoying whatever snippets are left. Chloe loves to collect flowers and other nature finds. She collected this from our yard. I love our encore azaleas, even though they're everywhere here. She's decked out in her too small Arial costume:) with the sun in her eyes.Last week, our play group went to the local botanical garden - a different one from the last post. This beautiful flower was her first nature find. For any of you that are concerned, she doesn't pick them; she gets them from the ground.
We found a lizard too. Then as we were taking pictures, we found another one. Can you find them?
It was fun to watch all of the kids gather around to look at something cool, or pile up on the swing and benches. The garden also had a beautiful gazebo. All of the kids loved playing on it.
They even played hide-and-seek for a bit while us moms just gabbed. Chloe was hiding behind the bush when Everett "got" her. He wasn't "it." He just had a stick, so he had to get her. This stick, by the way is a dowel, left over from a project. It's an official "toy" now, not just something he found at the garden. So silly. Anyway, he giggled and giggled. Chloe was not so happy about being gotten. It was funny. Normally my camera's so slow to act that I can never get the shot I want. But I got lucky here with her grouchy face and his stick still in action.
